Park Nicollet named one of the nation's 'Top Integrated Health Networks'

Park Nicollet Health System has been named one of the nation’s “Top 100 Integrated Healthcare Networks” (IHN) for 2012 by IMS, a health care informatics joint venture firm. Park Nicolet is the only Minnesota health system to receive this award.
The honor is given to health systems based on eight weighted performance categories, including overall integration. Other categories included in the rating system are outpatient utilization, integrated technology and hospital utilization. Financial stability, services and access and physician services are also analyzed.
According to IMS, the eight factors listed above are predictors of both the current and future success of a health care organization.
IMS has been ranking integrated systems since 1994. This year’s “Top 100 Integrated Healthcare Networks” was chosen from nearly 600 non-specialty regional integrated health networks from around the country.
