Andrea Walsh, Roxanna Gapstur Honored by Women's Health Leadership TRUST
MINNEAPOLIS – April 30, 2014– Andrea Walsh, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, HealthPartners, and Roxanna Gapstur, senior vice president, chief operating officer, and chief nursing officer, Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital, have been honored by the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST.
The group, founded in 1979 to support and promote female leadership in health care, has helped Minnesota become a national leader in the prevalence of women in health care executive roles.
As part of its 35th anniversary celebration, the TRUST recognized 35 female health care leaders from across the state. Honorees were selected by the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST board of directors based on the professional achievements, evidence of leadership, impact on community, special talent or expertise, unique endeavors, and challenges experienced by the leader being recognized.
