Tests, treatment
If you think your child might have a learning disability, meet with your child’s teacher to talk about school work and behavior. There is no cure for learning disabilities, but classroom accommodations and special education services can help your child reach his or her potential.
Parents can also help their children achieve academically by providing support and encouragement, helping with homework assignments and increasing the child’s understanding of his or her unique style of learning.
