Description
About one in four adults suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder, such as depression, anxiety, or other mood disorders in a given year, according to the National Institute of Mental Health. Due to the number of people affected by mental health conditions, primary care clinicians are routinely challenged by the diagnosis and treatment of these disorders. Often, primary care clinicians lack the time or the right tools to detect major depression. In many cases, detection of mental health conditions is further complicated by the presence of another illness or disease. All these factors suggest the need for a new approaches to diagnose, monitor and assess patient outcomes. More
