Description

Neurological disorders affect an estimated 50 million Americans each year. In addition to the extreme personal toll, these conditions cause an annual economic cost of hundreds of billions of dollars in medical expenses and lost productivity, according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. One obstacle to the provision of high quality care is the volume of new clinical information available to clinicians. This conference supports clinicians in developing strategies and resources to streamline coordination of care and adhere to meaningful, evidence-based clinical guidelines and performance measures in the diagnosis and treatment of common neurological conditions. More
