Description

A day in the life of a primary care clinician is anything but predictable or routine. Primary care clinicians serve as the patient’s first point of entry into the health care system, and see their patients regularly to keep close tabs on their health care needs. Primary care clinicians encounter as many as 400 diseases in general practice and on average run into 40 clinical dilemmas a day. Given the ever-changing and evolving field of medicine, primary care clinicians need a vast range of skills and competencies to provide the best possible patient care. In addition to maintaining an expansive knowledge base, primary care clinicians need to keep everyday practice current and evidence-based.
