Audience

School nurses, public health workers, social workers and health office staff working with children and adolescents with diabetes in a school setting.

Description

School nurses are vital to the team that manages diabetes for the child or teen with diabetes. This program focuses on current management issues for patients with type 1 diabetes, such as psychological and social concerns, nutrition, medications and technologies.
