5. Finding support

At the time of your diagnosis, you may have many questions or concerns. It is important that you have confidence and trust in your health care team.  If you do not feel comfortable with the relationship you have with your doctor, it is OK to ask for a new doctor.

Feel free to ask your doctor or nurse any questions. You will be less afraid if you know what the doctor is doing for you. Often, it is difficult to think of questions when you are newly diagnosed. If you do not know what to ask, start by asking these questions.
