Psychosocial care

Patient speaking with a counselor.

A cancer diagnosis can mean increased distress for patients and families. Highly skilled counselors are available to address the wide range of psychosocial needs that may arise.

Psychotherapists consult with other members of the health care team about patient mental health needs. These clinicians help mobilize and strengthen resources as patients meet the challenges of cancer. Psychological evaluation, as well as individual and group psychotherapy, is offered. Psychiatric care is available when needed.

Providers include:

Jane Thompson, MSW, LICSW, BCD
Oncology psychotherapist

Debi Lillegard, MA, LMFT
Oncology family counselor

To schedule an appointment with a therapist or counselor, call 952-993-3248.
