IV therapy

Outpatient IV therapy provides an alternative to hospitalization for adult cancer patients who require IV treatments. Services are provided at Park Nicollet Clinic—St. Louis Park and  Park Nicollet Clinic—Meadowbrook (PDF). Each location treats about 50 to 60 patients per day. Services include chemotherapy treatments, IV fluids and intravenous medications prepared by pharmacists experienced in oncology. A team of oncology nurses administers treatment, and educates patients on how to manage their illnesses and side effects of therapy.
