At Frauenshuh Cancer Center, we deliver award-winning care to our patients. Our oncology research program is dedicated to providing patients with the opportunity to participate in innovative research studies, advancing the science of cancer treatment and improving health and quality of life. Our research staff conducts studies in cancer treatment, prevention, early detection and symptom management.

Here are some facts that support our leadership presence.

• Our survival rates exceed the national average by nine percent.
• In 2008, we received Commission on Cancer’s Outstanding Achievement Award. This award recognizes perfect achievement in all nine areas of commendation, placing us in the top 19 percent of surveyed programs.
• We are a member of the Metro Minnesota Community Clinical Oncology Program, providing access to more than 120 cancer treatment and prevention studies.
• More than 8 percent of our patients participate in research studies, far exceeding state and national averages and giving our patients access to innovative cancer treatment.
• As part of Park Nicollet Health Services, we are recognized as an integrated health care leader. Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital received awards placing it in the top 5 percent of U.S. hospitals.
