Social work

An oncology social worker is actively involved in evaluating patient needs and providing appropriate assistance in areas including financial services, emotional support and community resources.

Social workers are professionally trained and state licensed. They have the experience to enable you and your family to cope more effectively with life changes that may occur with a cancer diagnosis.
