Patient rights
As a patient, you have the right:

to be treated with respect, consideration and dignity

to be provided appropriate privacy

to have records and disclosures treated confidentially and, except when required by law, to have the opportunity to approve or refuse the release of your records

to be provided, to the degree known, complete information concerning your diagnosis, treatment and prognosis

to receive your health care in a functionally safe and sanitary environment

to have the opportunity to participate in decisions regarding your health care

to have information available to patients and staff concerning:

patient conduct and responsibilities

services available at the organization

provisions for after-hours and emergency coverage

the right to refuse participation in experimental research
