Park Nicollet Foundation sponsors several annual events that combine the excitement of working with a motivated group of volunteers and the satisfaction of raising funds for Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital and Park Nicollet Clinic programs. At Struthers, our goal is to improve quality of life at every stage and help people live well with Parkinson's disease.  

Philanthropic support helps us sustain and develop critical arts and wellness programs including yoga, spiritual care, music therapy, dance, massage, horticulture and more. These services enhance standard treatment, but insurance doesn't cover them. We need your help to make them possible.

Marathons of Hope

Changing the course of cancer

Save the Date: Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013

Marathons of Hope is a certified 5K and 10K race with a family-friendly atmosphere, including a short dash for children 12 or younger. Participants run, walk, bike or blade around Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Through the generosity and the hard work of the Marathons of Hope participants and their sponsors, more than $30,000 is contributed annually to Frauenshuh Cancer Center. These funds go directly to support critical patient and family care and cancer support programs.

Pedal, Roll and Stroll

Save the date: Saturday, Sept. 8, 2013

Pedal, Roll & Stroll for Parkinson’s is a bike ride and walk for people with Parkinson’s and their families and friends. All proceeds from this event will benefit Park Nicollet Struthers Parkinson’s Center, and will provide exercise equipment programs and movement opportunities.

Staying active can improve overall quality of life, especially for people with Parkinson’s. The idea of Pedal, Roll & Stroll is to motivate people with Parkinson’s to get together, enjoy the outdoors and experience the benefits of movement.

Step to INSPIRE

Save the date: Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013

Step to INSPIRE is a 5K run, walk or roll (with shorter courses available) that raises funds for Park Nicollet’s award-winning Stroke INSPIRE Program. Your participation will help fund support groups, education, awareness and outreach for stroke and brain injury survivors and their families and caregivers.

A musical variety benefit for Park Nicollet Frauenshuh Cancer Center

For more than 30 years, the Methodaires, a show choir sponsored by Park Nicollet Foundation, has been raising funds for Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital programs.

Be Pink, a Jane Brattain Breast Center Fundraising Event

We gathered this past October at Wayzata Country Club for a morning of inspiration, breast cancer awareness and celebration of community. Park Nicollet Jane Brattain Breast Center supports the health and healing of more than 7,000 women in Wayzata each year. Your contribution supports new technology and expanded services for our community and creates an assistance program to help women in need.
