Blood glucose target ranges for children

Blood glucose target ranges for children are different from target ranges for adults, because children's activity levels and food intake can vary from hour to hour, causing unstable blood glucose. Plus, the brain needs glucose to develop properly, and higher target ranges help prevent low blood glucose in young children.
