Pediatric eye care

Because we treat patients at every stage of their eye development, a dedicated pediatric eye care team made up of ophthalmologists, pediatric optometrists, certified ophthalmic medical technologists and a specialized pediatric optician is located at Park Nicollet Clinic—St. Louis Park, Minn. Children age 12 and younger are examined and treated for existing and potential eye problems that may occur.

Children have very special eye health issues. By making eye examinations fun and child-friendly, the pediatric eye care team makes every effort to create a positive experience for patients, while ensuring the exam is comprehensive. Each test is modified to be age-appropriate so vision can be successfully tested, even on infants.
