I knew that I wanted to become a cardiologist since I was seven years old. That’s when my dad had his heart attack; he was only 29 years old at the time.

My favorite part of being a heart specialist is interacting with and helping my patients. I truly believe that effective change can only happen when the patient and doctor work as a team. I’ve been working with some of my long-term patients with chronic heart disease for almost a decade. In that time, I have learned that subtle changes can help them function at their personal best.

I am a strong supporter of prevention and have a passion for educating women about heart disease. Through education, care and awareness, I want to help future generations of parents stay healthy for themselves and their children.
