Flu: Overview

Flu immunizations
Shoo the FLU

Starting Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, injectable flu vaccine (for patients 3 years of age and older) and high-dose vaccine (for patients 65 years and older) will be available at Park Nicollet Clinic. Vaccine for children (6 to 35 months of age) and FluMist intranasal vaccine will be available in the future. Check back for updates.

Protect your family against the flu. Walk-in immunizations are available for the entire family at 20 Park Nicollet Clinic locations. Everyone 6 months of age and older should get a flu vaccine; it’s 100-percent covered by most insurance plans. Your care team can help determine which flu vaccine (flu shot or nasal spray) is best for you.

Do you have the flu?

Find out if you have the flu or a common cold by visiting Flu Prevention and Care. In most situations you should stay home with the flu and avoid contact with other people. However, children and adults should seek urgent medical care if preexisting health conditions put you at high risk, or if your symptoms include certain danger signs.
