FAQs for vascular lab appointments

FAQ - Vascular lab appointments

Where is the vascular lab?

The vascular lab is on the third floor. Park in the Blue Ramp in front of the center. Bring your parking ticket to your appointment to receive a discounted rate. Take an elevator to the third floor and check in at the reception desk.

Do I need a referral?

Yes, you will need a referral from your doctor or cardiologist, to be tested in the vascular lab.

Does my insurance cover the visit?

We accept most major insurance plans, including HealthPartners, Patient Choice, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Medica Choice, Medica Elect, Medica Select Care, Araz and PreferredOne, among others.

If you have questions about coverage or about your bill, call your insurance provider or call Park Nicollet Business Services at 952-993-7672.

What happens at my appointment?

You may be coming in for a number of tests, so for specific information, please see the tests and treatments section of this Web site. The common theme is that your doctor has asked for a further study of your condition and professionals in our nationally accredited lab will provide you with outstanding care and service. For more details, call 952-993-2651.

How long will the appointment take?

Depending on the test, it will take from 30 minutes to one hour, or even two hours. For a better understanding of the time needed, call 952-993-2651.

If I have questions about my appointment, who should I call?

Call 952-993-2651, if you have questions.

How do I get my test results?

Your results will be shared with the doctor who referred you for the testing. It is the referring doctor who will share the information with you, so you will need to check with him or her to see how you will receive the information. Some will call, others will send a letter.
