Professional education

Doctors and other health professionals can stay up-to-date on the latest information relating to advances in diagnosing, treating and managing heart and vascular condition by participating in Park Nicollet’s continuing medical education (CME) programs. Programs are offered through Park Nicollet's education and research division, Park Nicollet Institute.

Fellowships

Through an agreement with the University of Minnesota Medical School, Park Nicollet Heart and Vascular Center participates in the training of cardiology fellows (doctors who are doing specialized training in the care of cardiac patients). This is a unique opportunity for the fellows to work in a fast-paced imaging center and gain extensive experience in the use of these test in the evaluation of cardiac disease. The cardiologists at the Heart and Vascular Center bring many years of experience to the teaching of tomorrow's cardiologists. The partnership between Park Nicollet and the University of Minnesota Medical School assures the presence of a cardiology fellow at the center throughout the year.
