Patient research participation

Patient research participationWe are proud that research efforts have revolutionized heart treatment; however, we have not accomplished this alone. Patients work with us in our continuing efforts to improve care; and it is their experiences that help shape our education, research and treatment programs.

Why participate in a research study?

Taking part in a clinical study can result in benefits for yourself and others:

  • You may have access to cutting-edge drugs that are approved by the Food and Drug Administration, but not yet on the market.
  • Some studies pay for medical care associated with them.
  • You may contribute to the understanding of disease or its treatment and improve the lives of future generations.

Your involvement helps clinical researchers study:

  • how well medications work
  • how the human body works
  • new procedures
  • medical tests
  • the best types of patient care

If you are interested in participating in a research study, call us at 952-993-3466.
