Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital's Emergency Center is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to treat any medical problem ranging from life-threatening or traumatic injuries to minor illnesses. Our expert care team provides a comprehensive range of emergency services, including rapid evaluation and treatment for heart attack and stroke.

At Park Nicollet Family Birth Center, our specialists are committed to delivering the highest level of care through every stage of your pregnancy. From a highly experienced Ob/Gyn team including nurse midwives, to state-of-the-art labor, delivery and recovery suites, to a special care nursery for premature and sick babies, we can provide quality, family focused care while meeting the needs of parent, baby and family during childbirth.

Tours
We invite you to tour the Family Birth Center. Free tours are available on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Advance registration required. Register online.

Classes
Park Nicollet’s childbirth and baby preparation classes are provided by Amma Parenting Center. Amma offers a wide variety of prenatal and new parent programs, events and workshops. For a list of classes, fees and registration, visit Amma Parenting Center or call 952-926-BABY.

Baby photographs
Newborn photography is available through First Day Photo. The portrait session is free and takes place in the comfort of your room. Review proofs shortly after your session where you can purchase a package at that time if you choose.

Bavia services 
Methodist Hospital offers Bavia in-room, therapeutic massage. Post-natal massage can help new moms by stimulating milk production, decreasing pain, reducing anxiety, and calming and soothing.

The Gift Shoppe, staffed by Methodist Hospital Service League volunteers, is located near the hospital’s Excelsior Boulevard entrance. Many gifts are available, including fresh flowers, plants, slippers, stuffed animals, cards, toiletries, magazines and jewelry.

General Store at Park Nicollet
The store features newspapers, magazines, greeting cards, stamps, Park Nicollet logo and personal care products, and “grab and go” food and drinks. It is located near the Louisiana Avenue entrance.

Park Nicollet Sleep Disorders Center is renowned in diagnosing, treating and managing sleep-related problems. Our experienced staff works with specialists from several medical areas, including pulmonary medicine, neurology, psychiatry and otolaryngology. Together, we provide a total care program that helps patients with sleep disorders.

Spiritual ministry and support

Park Nicollet recognizes the human spirit often needs special care during difficult times of illness and hospitalization.
