Eating Disorders Institute (EDI) developed an intensive outpatient program in addition to its full-time and partial programs. Patients in the new program are treated three hours a day, three days a week. EDI was featured in a dedicated segment about eating disorders on the national PBS series NOVA. |

A. Stuart Hanson, MD, president, received the 2000 Earl G. Young Physician of Excellence Award. The award is presented by Park Nicollet Foundation for clinical excellence, service to other physicians and community involvement. Hanson also received Park Nicollet's Community Service Award for leadership in the public health fight against tobacco. |
