Nicollet. More than 400 Park Nicollet Institute employees, together
with our Park Nicollet colleagues, collaborative partners, volunteers,
donors, community members and board of directors are dedicated to making
a difference through innovation in research and education.

Center Research Foundation founded.

| Nicollet Clinic Foundation
established.

| International Diabetes
Center established.
|
| St. Louis Park Medical
Center presents its first professional education seminar.

| An education department
is established at St. Louis Park Medical Center, which evolves to
become Health Education Center.

| A health services research
center is launched, which eventually becomes Health Research Center.
|
| Nicollet Clinic and St.
Louis Park Medical Center merge. Park Nicollet Medical Foundation
is established to advance research and education.

| Park Nicollet becomes
the first smoke-free health system. Tobacco cessation initiatives
in research and education increase through the 90s until today.

| Super Asthma Saturday
provides educational activities for children with asthma, their parents
and health care providers. The program continues to be a popular offering.

| Five continuing medical
education seminars are presented. In 2001, Continuing Medical Education
sponsored category 1 credit for 75 seminars, lectures and programs.

| Park Nicollet Medical
Foundation presents first Educator of the Year and Researcher of the
Year awards. Park Nicollet HealthSource establishes its first
corporate wellness center at U.A.W. Ford in St. Paul. Today there
are five wellness center sites at major corporations throughout the
Twin Cities.

| Park Nicollet Medical
Center and Methodist Hospital decide to merge.
|
| Park Nicollet is a founding
member of the Institute for Clinical Systems Integration.
|
| Park Nicollet Medical
Foundation and Methodist Hospital Foundation collaborate on "Celebration
for Life." This fundraising event has been more successful each
year and in 2001 raised $475,000 for innovation at Park Nicollet.

| Health Education Center
product line grows dramatically. The newly created Activity Pyramid
and "Well Advised" lead sales.

| Park Nicollet
Medical Foundation integrates with HealthSystem Minnesota and is renamed
Institute for Research and Education. Oncology Research Program is
incorporated into Health Research Center. "American Health"
names International Diabetes Center one of four leading U.S. academic
medical centers in the treatment of diabetes.

| Rheumatology Treatment
and Research Center (RTRC) joins the Rheumatoid Arthritis Investigational
Network consortium and expands its research agenda. RTRC has been
the top enrolling site since joining the consortium.

for Research and Education renamed Park Nicollet Institute. |
| A. Stuart
Hanson, MD, announces his retirement as president of Park Nicollet
Institute after 16 years of dedicated service.
