Asthma and allergy research center

Park Nicollet’s Asthma and Allergy Research Center is dedicated to improving the lives of people with allergic-based diseases.

We conduct phase II, III and IV research studies in allergic rhinitis, asthma, nonallergic rhinitis, sinusitis and urticaria, pharmacoeconomic evaluations and medical device and equipment evaluations. We also study the patient’s role to assess compliance, health status and patient preference.

With 30 years of experience and successful completion of more than 160 clinical trials, we have a reputation for quality results. Research strengths include:

  • sophisticated recruitment process
  • pulmonary assessment technology
  • secure drug and document storage
  • on-site laboratory, EKG and X-ray facilities
  • timely access (twice-monthly meetings) of a local Institutional Review Board

Patient recruitment sources include a research-specific database and physician referrals from Park Nicollet Asthma and Allergic Diseases. Other Park Nicollet Clinic and Twin Cities participants are reached through the media. Enrollment averages 100 percent, and our population is adherent to study requirements and our retention rate is high.

Asthma and Allergy Research Center is at Park Nicollet Clinic—St. Louis Park. Our investigators are practicing clinicians. Plus, we have staff dedicated to research initiatives.
