Giving to Park Nicollet Hospice
Families often ask how they can support the Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital Hospice program. The generous gifts we receive support many efforts.
- Hospice Special Needs Fund – Provides resources not covered by insurance for hospice patients, families and caregivers. Needs that are most supported include medications, transportation and equipment.
- Hospice Excellence Fund – Provides training and education the care team needs to give the best possible hospice care.
- Growing through Grief Fund – Provides grief support and education to children who have experienced the death of a loved one. Find out more.
You can designate contributions to these funds or to any other Park Nicollet program that closely touched your life.
Other assistance Park Nicollet Foundation provides includes:
- Envelopes for memorial services
- Help to ensure the designated fund is accurately reflected in the obituary

Memorial and honorary gifts

Providing a gift establishes a tribute that allows you to honor a loved one, a special caregiver or care team while supporting our continuing efforts.
If you wish to designate memorial gifts for your loved one to us, let us know your wishes. We can help you choose the most appropriate fund designation.

A legacy gift
A gift in your will or living trust is one of the simplest and most popular ways to honor your or your loved one's legacy and provide support to the Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital Hospice program. Called a charitable bequest, this type of gift can be made as a percentage of your estate or a certain amount of cash, securities or property. After your lifetime, the Hospice program receives the gift, honoring your memory and ensuring your legacy or caring, kindness and helping others continues.
Just a few sentences in your will or trust is all that is needed. For more information contact Elizabeth Warner at Park Nicollet Foundation at Elizabeth.Warner@parknicollet.com or 952-993-5171.
Park Nicollet Foundation can also provide confidential assistance to help you create a thoughtful estate plan (or review an existing estate plan) that facilitates the tax wise transfer of your assets to the people and organizations you care about after you pass away. Our desire is to help you create a values based estate plan that enables you to leave the legacy you want and meets your personal goals.
At Park Nicollet Foundation, we use philanthropy to enhance the patient and family experience, promote innovation and research and respond to the healthcare needs of our community. Gifts to Park Nicollet Foundation are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
