Biography

Being a cardiologist involves diagnosis, acute care when people are sick, long-term management of chronic problems and even prevention. In the 21st century we are lucky to have great tools that allow us to help people feel better and live longer, more productive lives. As an interventional cardiologist, I especially enjoy taking care of patients with acute coronary syndromes (heart attacks). In these situations, I sometimes have the opportunity to really "mend a broken heart" with a balloon or stent. I also enjoy being outside with my family and our three dogs.
