Biography
I chose the practice of infectious disease as my specialty area because I find the combination of biology, epidemiology and human interaction it provides challenging and extremely satisfying. I enjoy caring for people with a broad range of infectious disease problems, including illnesses in travelers and immunocompromised people, viral illnesses and their resulting symptoms, health care associated infections, and unusual- or difficult-to-treat infections. I have unique expertise in diagnosing and managing human papillomavirus infection and its resulting symptoms. In my roles as a consulting doctor and primary care doctor for those who are HIV positive, I listen and strive to understand and respect patients who have entrusted me with their medical care.
