Sleep study

A sleep study usually takes one full night at Sleep Disorders Center. Additional testing the following day also may be needed to evaluate daytime sleepiness. During all studies, sleep technologists will continuously monitor and record your sleeping patterns, breathing, snoring, heart activity and body movements.

Throughout the course of your evaluation, a sleep disorders doctor follows your progress. When the sleep evaluation is complete, your sleep disorders doctor will review the findings with you and recommend treatment. Review these FAQs  for additional details about sleep studies.

Following a sleep study, your doctor may recommend you attend a class  to learn more about your condition.

For more information about sleep studies, call 952-993-6083.
