Park Nicollet Foundation: Ways to Give

Your support makes it possible for Park Nicollet Foundation to go beyond clinic walls to provide hope, healing and support to our community. Park Nicollet and community programs depend on your continued support and donations – it’s how we care for those who are most in need.

Gifts allow us to enhance the patient and family experience, promote innovation and research, and respond to the healthcare needs of our community. Each gift, no matter its size, makes a difference.

Gifts can be designated to a variety of programs, including Frauenshuh Cancer Center, Hospice, International Diabetes Center, Jane Brattain Breast Center, Melrose Institute, Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital, Park Nicollet Institute, Struthers Parkinson’s Center and Stroke INSPIRE.

These programs depend on your continued support and donations – it’s how we care for those who are most in need. Thanks to you and other donors, we distributed nearly $3.1 million in 2011 to support these goals. Each gift, no matter its size, makes a difference. With your contribution we can provide:

• No-charge healthcare to 5,000 children at our four community clinics
• Grief support and education to more than 450 students who have lost a loved one
• Patient-centered services such as music therapy, support groups and nutrition education
• Enhanced access for children needing immunizations in 25 area school districts
• Research to improve patient care and treatment options

Memorials and tributes recognize someone special, commemorate important occasions, or express sympathy and remembrance at the loss of a loved one.

Honor gifts can be made in recognition of a care team member who has provided excellent care.

Unrestricted gifts support areas of greatest need, as directed by the Foundation.

Designated gifts support specified Park Nicollet projects, programs or services.

Endowment gifts provide long-term support to a special program or to research, education or patient-care activity. Investment returns from gifts of $50,000 or more are used to support programs and projects.

Planned gifts support Park Nicollet through a bequest in a will, a charitable or revocable trust, life insurance, stocks or real estate.

Matching gifts. Check with your employer about making a matching gift to Park Nicollet Foundation. Your gift is tax-deductible as allowable by law.
