Starting with obstetrics care at Park Nicollet Clinic–St. Louis Park and delivery at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital, my daughter Ani and I have received great care and experiences every step of the way.
I had my obstetrics care with Nancy Gossard, nurse practitioner, at Park Nicollet Clinic–St. Louis Park. I absolutely love her. Over the years, I’ve learned many of my friends also had her as their OB, and everyone has great things to say. She’s fabulous, kind, smart and I felt comfortable asking her anything.
Ani was born at Methodist Hospital on May 12, 2007. I recall when I was laboring with Ani, she wasn’t registering a consistent pulse. Obviously, this was concerning to everyone, especially me. I didn’t want to have a C-section, but it looked like it might be necessary. The nurse and care team did a fantastic job putting me at ease with their professionalism. There’s no better place to be than a hospital when complications arise. I’m proud to say we ended up having a regular delivery and Ani was healthy and beautiful.
Ani now receives her primary care from various pediatric team members at Park Nicollet Clinic–Chanhassen. I’m sure we’ve seen them all; they’re all awesome. I like the self-rooming, so we don’t have to sit out in the waiting room with other sick kids.
During Ani’s first years, we did all of planned well-child visits and preventive visits – they were a good touch point to confirm she was healthy and hitting all her milestones. Of course there have been some bumps and bruises along the way, and visits to the Urgent Care at Chanhassen.
Once Ani burned the palm of her hand on the stove. That was a sad mommy moment for me, but the care team didn’t judge me. They were kind and helped her heal. I’m proud to say Ani still loves to bake, mix, cook and help in the kitchen.
I couldn't image going anywhere but Park Nicollet for my family’s care.
