Meet Meghan. She's a young professional, and has spent the last year working as a recruiter at Park Nicollet. She's also a big Minnesota sports fan and loves to spend time outdoors. Being active and living a healthy lifestyle is important to her.
Although she's young and healthy, Meghan has had more experience with the Park Nicollet women's health team than most women her age. Two years ago she had emergency surgery to remove a large ovarian cyst. "It was scary, and there were a lot of unknowns, but my doctor and care team were committed to getting me answers," she says. "They provided me with really exceptional care, and have been my go-to team for my care since the surgery."
Today, Meghan feels like she has a new outlook on health. "Sometimes it's easy to feel invincible and like nothing can happen. Knowing that I had my Park Nicollet family to take care of me during that scary time really changes my perspective about taking care of myself and using the resources available to me," she says.
With her doctor now at the Women's Center, Meghan is excited to continue her care in a new place that offers even more coordinated services and personalized health care guidance.
