Are you a candidate?

We tailor procedures to our patients' specific needs, whether it's eye prescription, health conditions or age. We will discuss this with you during the initial consultation. Criteria for what makes a good candidate for laser vision correction are:

  • age (must be age 18 or older)
  • stability of eyeglass prescription
  • current medical conditions, such as AIDS, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis or myasthemia gravis; collagen vascular disease; or diabetes
  • being immunocompromised for any reason
  • if you currently are breastfeeding or pregnant

These criteria will not disqualify you as a candidate for laser vision correction, but may affect what options we offer you.

To find out more about what makes a good candidate for vision correction, call 952-993-2733 to schedule a complimentary screening.
