For more information or the latest updates, visit the Medicare Web site.

Other requirements

Insurance plans vary with the individual patient’s contracts. We recommend that patients contact their insurance carrier for details of their plan.

Restrictions to provide simultaneous care occur in the following situations:

  • outpatient therapy and home-care
  • outpatient therapy and short-term stay at a nursing home

Exceptions are based on whether the site provides the type of care needed, such as wound care or detailed video swallow exams. If you have questions, please contact us.

All patients’ care plans are renewed at 30 days.
