Lifestyle renewal program

Healing touch is one of the many therapies used to help patients with chronic pain or migraines.
Healing touch is one of the many therapies used to help patients with chronic pain or migraines.

Research shows that addressing social and psychological influences in addition to physical factors is effective for decreasing symptoms, such as pain and fatigue, and improving quality of life. A holistic approach can add to improvements.

The lifestyle renewal program integrates approaches to chronic pain treatment and customizes the program for each patient. Education is provided for pacing of activity, exercise, relaxation, sleep hygiene, body mechanics, postural awareness, ergonomics, Qigong, healing touch therapy, problem solving and adaptive equipment.
