Cardiac rehabilitation

	The Rehabilitation and Fitness center at Park Nicollet Heart and Vascular Center is where Phase III cardiac rehabilitation takes place.

Cardiac rehabilitation provides comprehensive evaluation, education and treatment for patients who have a cardiac condition or have had cardiovascular surgery. The program’s goals are to increase patients’ physical activity and function with activities of daily living, and to prevent future problems. Our staff is specially trained in cardiac rehabilitation.

Patients who can benefit from the program include those diagnosed with a heart-related condition such as heart disease or heart attack, and those recovering from heart surgery or stent placement.
