Cardiac rehabilitation, consisting of occupational therapy and physical therapy, provides comprehensive evaluation, education and treatment for patients who have a cardiac condition or have had cardiovascular surgery. The program’s goals are to increase patients’ physical activity and function with activities of daily living and to prevent future problems. Our occupational therapists and physical therapists are specially trained in cardiac rehabilitation.

Eligibility
Patients who can benefit from the program include those diagnosed with coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, stable angina or cardiomyopathy, plus those recovering from coronary artery bypass graft, valve replacement, heart transplant and angioplasty.
