Pediatric rehabilitation
| Therapists can help children with a wide variety of developmental disorders. |
The pediatric rehabilitation program offers individualized occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech pathology to children with a wide variety of neurological, behavioral and musculoskeletal disorders and their families. Our caring staff attends to the unique needs of each child by developing a plan with the family to promote independence in social, physical and daily living needs.
A multidisciplinary team approach is offered for patients who benefit from all three services, such as pervasive developmental disorder, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, hypotonia or other neuromuscular disorders or injuries. Services available include evaluations, equipment recommendations, individualized treatment and home programs, inservice opportunities and coordination of care with school services.
