Our comprehensive services include:
Medical care - Eating disorders affect the entire body, and if left untreated can create life-threatening medical issues. Our medical doctors are specially trained in how eating disorders affect the body, and we are one of the few programs in the country to offer comprehensive medical services. Our ultimate goal is for our patients to gain the medical stability they need for a complete recovery.
Nutrition - Before engaging in therapeutic recovery, those with eating disorders must maintain stable nutritional and physical health. We work closely with our patients to develop balanced meal plans that include all foods and promote a nonjudgmental attitude toward food. We also prepare our patients to make good decisions about balanced nutrition during recovery in real-world situations.
Mental health - Shame, anxiety, depression, loss of identity and self-denial all influence eating disorder behaviors. We use evidence-based therapy, which helps our patients develop skills to change thought patterns, improve self-esteem and self-acceptance, and gain a more balanced life. We empower patients to set and reach their own goals through individualized recovery plans that work for them.
