Travel prescriptions

Travel nurse specialists are registered nurses trained specifically in travel medicine. Under the direction of infectious disease and tropical medicine doctors, travel nurses may prescribe medications specific to your travel needs. There are medicines for preventing and treating malaria, traveler's diarrhea, altitude sickness and more.

If you need to take certain medications with you as you travel, or need to refill a prescription before you leave, visit any of our 14 convenient Pharmacy @ Park Nicollet locations. In addition to prescriptions, you will find a variety of over-the-counter medications, vitamins and last-minute, first-aid items.

If you must take certain medications, or need a refill of your current prescriptions, contact your medical provider or pharmacy with your request. Travel nurse specialists only may prescribe or refill medications specific to travel.
