CEO message
Last year was a year of growth for Park Nicollet Health Services. In 2005, we opened three new facilities, received top honors for our cardiovascular care and continued our efforts to improve patient care and service through extensive implementation of Lean production techniques and training.
Park Nicollet Heart and Vascular Center, a state-of-the-art facility, opened on our Methodist Hospital campus in St. Louis Park, Minn. TRIA Orthopaedic Center a joint venture between Park Nicollet, University of Minnesota Physicians and the Orthopaedic Center is now open in Bloomington, Minn. Our expansion of services in the southwestern suburbs continued with the completion and grand opening of Park Nicollet Clinic—Chanhassen.
Park Nicollet earned national recognition in 2005 for its cardiovascular care. Methodist Hospital was honored by being named a 100 Top Cardiovascular Hospital by Solucient®, a respected source of health care information. Park Nicollet Heart and Vascular Center received Premier’s Q Award for excellence in heart attack care. The center also played a critical role in Park Nicollet receiving HealthFront’s Gold Award for Excellence in Quality in managing coronary artery disease, diabetes and preventive services.
Looking ahead, Park Nicollet will continue improving patient care in 2006. We are focusing on reducing the time patients wait for appointments and unnecessary waits while receiving care. We also are striving to provide personalized care and service to patients every time they come in contact with our organization. We hope to increase access to all services and make sure patient satisfaction continues to rise.
Park Nicollet is proud to provide excellent care and service to people in our community, and we are excited about new opportunities to improve health care for you and your family.
I am proud to share our achievements with you.
