  • In 2006, Park Nicollet Institute conducted 214 active research studies and recognized the Park Nicollet authors of 46 papers, books and book chapters.
  • Patients and the public took part in 207 health education classes offered through Park Nicollet Institute, which reached more than 2,437 participants.
  • Park Nicollet Institute offered 66 professional education activities. This continuing medical education reached more than 5,613 health care professionals across the nation.
  • Methodist Hospital employees participated in “operation orange” training with local fire and police departments. This live situational drill provided essential training in emergency response to mass casualty incidents, and meets our Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations requirements for accreditation.
  • For the first time, Park Nicollet Clinic’s top 50 most commonly performed clinic procedures was made available to customers at all Park Nicollet Clinic locations and online at parknicollet.com. Included were the average charge for procedures and Medicaid and nongovernmental insurance reimbursements.
