Service
Service is our commitment to delight all those who experience our services whether patients, purchasers or colleagues.

During fourth quarter 2006, survey results showed more than half of surveyed patients gave our care teams the highest rating possible. We are halfway to our 2007 year-end goal. Patient stories demonstrate the real-life impact behind care team ratings. Each small percentage increase contributes many positive results.

Park Nicollet Health Services was named one of the nation’s 100 Most Wired hospitals and health systems by Hospitals & Health Networks magazine. Fully digitized and integrated patient medical records and Patient Online contributed to this award. As of Dec. 31, 2006, nearly 14,000 patients had registered Patient Online accounts.

We enhanced several Web sites on parknicollet.com to give patients more access to information about Park Nicollet services, programs, clinics and other health care information. Newly launched Web sites included Park Nicollet’s Heart and Vascular Center, Rehabilitation Services, Alexander Center and Plastic Surgery. Links to all our specialty Web sites can be found in our organizational overview.

Broadcasts of four weekly chapel services began transmitting live into Methodist Hospital patient rooms on Care Channel 17. The initiation of this program coincided with National Spiritual Care Week. Chaplains, clergy and lay ministers provided patients and families with emotional, religious and spiritual support.
