I am an Internal Medicine Hospitalist. Hospitalists are doctors who only treat patients in the hospital rather than in a clinic. I serve as the care team coordinator, but can also serve as a consultant to other teams to manage medical issues.
My areas of interest include patient education, quality improvement, and evidence based medicine. I understand that treating the whole patient, not just the medical issues, is important in recovery and setting appropriate goals of care.
