My Areas of Practice

I am committed to providing holistic, client centered care focused on improving overall well-being and participation in important life activities as defined by each individual.  I have been providing patient care with Park Nicollet since May 2014.  I currently practice within the Lifestyle Renewal Program, an outpatient occupational therapy program focused on empowering individuals with chronic pain and other chronic conditions improve their quality of life by establishing healthy lifestyle habits and by utilizing a variety of self-care techniques.

I am especially passionate about mind-body medicine and incorporate several mind-body techniques into my practice including therapeutic yoga, mindfulness and guided imagery, and biofeedback.  I have also taken continuing education courses in Pain Neuroscience Education, QiGong, and myofascial release and regularly incorporate these into practice as well.  I strongly believe in leveraging the unique strengths found in each individual in order to support healing and return to wellness.

The Lifestyle Renewal Program is run by specially trained occupational therapists who provide care within three major clinic locations: St. Louis Park, Carlson Parkway, and Maple Grove.  Lifestyle Renewal occupational therapists are also involved in the Headache Center at Meadowbrook, the Pain Management Clinic in St. Louis Park, as well as the Aquatic Therapy Program within Rehab Services.  The program serves individuals with a variety of conditions and concerns including those with chronic pain syndrome, myofascial pain, back and neck pain, fibromyalgia, migraines and other headache disorders, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue, sensory processing issues, and anxiety.
