My Areas of Practice

I am passionate about providing patient-centered care to women in my practice as an OB/GYN. My goal is to listen actively and communicate clearly in order to individualize care for each patient. I focus on educating my patients so they are empowered to take ownership of their health. I chose OB/GYN because of the ability to form long-term relationships with my patients, whether over a pregnancy or over a lifetime.  It is a privilege to walk alongside women during some of their most joyful and challenging moments—and everything in between.

I strive to provide comprehensive care for all general OB/GYN concerns. My specific interests include abnormal bleeding, family planning and contraception, office based procedures, vaginal birth after cesareans, and both high and low risk pregnancies. I am dedicated to providing minimally invasive surgery to shorten recovery times, and I utilize the daVinci robot for complex cases. I have a commitment to the education of medical students, residents, and, first and foremost, my patients.

Personal

I grew up in St. Paul and am thrilled to now call the Twin Cities home again. When I’m not at Park Nicollet, I enjoy yoga, reading, running, journaling, and exploring new neighborhoods and restaurants with my husband. I love to travel and have spent extended time volunteering in the healthcare systems of Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, and Uganda. I think that I have the best job in the world as an OB/GYN (how lucky that my job doesn’t feel like work!) and am grateful to have found an exceptional place to practice at Park Nicollet.
