Personal

I am especially interested in developmental processes involved in attention, learning and socialization. Psychological testing, behavior parent training, education and consultation are significant parts of my practice. I began working for Park Nicollet Clinic in 1998 as a pre-doctoral psychology intern. Prior to my career with PNC, I woked as the mental health counselor/behavior specialist for the Grand Portage Indian Reservation for 10 years. During that time I trained at the Lakehead Psychiatric Hospital and Mino Bimaadiziwin Child and Family Services in Thunder Bay, Ontario. My wife is an elementary education teacher.  We enjoy outdoor activities, especially those revolving around trips to our cabin in the Grand Marais area with our three children.
