My Areas of Practice
I took care of my first patient with heart disease in 1974 and immediately found my passion within health care. After completion of my nurse practitioner education in 1993, I began a focused career in electrophysiology, the care of the person with changes in heart rhythm, pacemakers, defibrillators and heart failure. I find fulfillment in helping each individual work through the short and long-term implications that health changes will bring to their life. My approach is to educate and empower each person to make decisions that will lead to a quality life. I am also dedicated to ongoing research, experiencing important and amazing care advancements over the decades.
