My Areas of Practice

My therapeutic style is collaborate, grounded in the importance of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship and in understanding your needs. I am passionate about helping adolescents and adults with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, grief and loss, relationships, life transitions, medical issues and stress. I also enjoy helping young adults find their strengths and make their way in the world and helping parents of all ages. Clients often comments on my calm, nonjudgmental nature and ability to help them find and use their strengths to grow and heal. My view is holistic, so I draw from multiple therapies, including interpersonal, cognitive, developmental, narrative and family among others, depending on the patient's needs.I enjoy including creative therapies such as art or journaling, and have a growing interest in the healing power of nature. Together we'll choose the path and walk this part of your life's journey.
