Personal

I really enjoy caring for children of all ages from birth through college.  Getting to know families and become part of their medical team is a priveledge.  My primary interest is type 1 diabetes and I believe in team-centered care allowing flexible, active and normal lives while maintaining good control of this chronic disease. Providing up-to-date care with the use of the most current diabetes medical technology is helpful in accomplishing this goal and I have first-hand knowledge in how to achieve this. I also have a strong interest in diagnosing and treating all other endocrine disorders (adrenal, thyroid, growth and puberty) and enjoy working closely with primary care providers. Outside of the clinic, my husband and I enjoy our yellow labs and all types of outdoor activities.
