My Areas of Practice
I am a licensed psychologist who has been practicing in a variety of settings since 2008, and I enjoy working with individuals of all ages.  As a clinician, I specialize in treating individuals who have a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder, as well as the other psychiatric issues that often accompany an eating disorder, such as mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, substance use disorders, and personality disorders.  I believe that effective therapy involves a competent, knowledgeable therapist, along with a healthy, trusting, collaborative relationship between client and therapist.  I use a variety of methods, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic modalities in my practice.

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with husband, family and friends, and my dog Monty and cat Rocket.  I enjoy running and working out, and am an avid reader.  I try to be open to new experiences and meeting new people, and I'm always excited to get outside during those rare times of hot weather in Minnesota.
